Evil Ash
"Evil" Ash was one of the best things to ever happen in the anime. In the Battle Frontier episode "Battling the Enemy Within", Ash and co. fell into some ruins and he ended up disturbing the spirit of an evil King who proceeded to steal his body. Brandon then battled the King of Pokélantis in order to save Ash and with the help of his friends, Ash was freed and the spirit was resealed within the stone ball where he had been all those years. A long time ago, the King ruled an evil empire known as Pokélantis and he tried to use Ho-Oh's power to take over the world, but Ho-Oh destroyed his empire. The King escaped and swore to get his revenge and seal Ho-Oh away in a stone ball, but ended up sealing himself instead. Poor Ash thought he was just going to free Ho-Oh, not get possessed. I love this episode so much. I just wish Ash could have been possessed for more than one episode and Team Rocket should have got to meet him, not waste time running around the ruins and doing useless stuff. It should have been a movie even, and it would have been the best Pokémon movie EVER. It's kind of freaky seeing Ash being controlled by an evil spirit, but still so awesome. Possessed Ash even looks pretty hot sometimes... though not when his face gets all wrinkly and he looks thirty years older. That was a bit... uh, yeah. Sadly, I don't think we'll ever see Ash be possessed again. Too bad... this episode had so much potential. It could have been something even bigger.
